The Gods of Guilt -  Michael Connelly

19th Christmas  -  James Patterson

3rd Degree  -  James Patterson

To Dream Again  -  Irene Norton

The Caldwell Sisters (four books)  -  Rowena Summers

The Dry  -  James Harper

The Mitford Scandal  -  Jessica Fellowes

The next meeting will be 5th November, 2024, 11.45 at the Bulls Head.

The Craft Group

The Craft group meets every two weeks in the home of one of our members. They undertake various different projects such as making Christmas novelties, Easter bunnies, Halloween items which are sold to members at coffee mornings, as well as making items to be donated to charity.

The next meetings will be on 29th October and 19th November, 2024.

Ladies' Lunch Club

Members of this group meet on a monthly basis at various different restaurants.

We try to hold the Lunch Club meetings on different days to ensure that all members have a chance to take part.

The next Ladies' Lunch will be at 1.00 p.m. on Wednesday, 6th November, 2024 at The Greyhound in Ashley.

The Walking Group

Walks are arranged monthly for any members who wish to join. They are usually fairly easy walks over mostly level ground, not usually exceeding 3 miles.

The Gardening Group

Ringway and Hale Barns WI has had an allotment at the Wellfield Lane Allotment site since August 2021.

It is hoped members will make this a productive and fulfilling project. Produce is sold at our monthly meetings for a nominal sum.

Any help that members can give to keep the allotment going would be greatly appreciated, even if it is only watering the plot for us in the summer.

Unfortunately, this year we didn't have a lot of success with our vegetables, mainly due to lack of water.  We need to feed and water all the plants on a regular basis, so if anyone is interested in gardening and would like to join us, we would be very happy to see you.

The Cinema/Garrick Club

Arrangements are made for our members to meet at the cinema or Garrick playhouse to see a film or play.  These meetings are ad hoc, dependent upon whether there are any films or events that members are interest in.
